Focus on Africa

A great passion of mine is the documentary film. On location, in Tanzania and Kenya I was director and cameraman on "FOCUS ON AFRICA". The project is a heart felt attempt to help save the African wildlife through photography. I had a wonderful experience, throughout an amazing expedition filming this fascinating video. The promotional video depicts photographers, and their labor of love on African Safari. A beautiful book was produced, the first, in a series of global eco-adventures. It was made with grants and contributions from Eastman Kodak, Hasselblad Cameras, and Out Door magazine.

This award-winning program was designed to deter youth from delinquency and crime by presenting an emotionally gripping insider's view of the devastating impact of incarceration. The videos are based on authentic, deeply personal letters, collected from institutions across the country, written by individuals who are serving time. Set against compelling images of incarcerated young adults, excerpts that convey the shattering consequences of confinement.
